I like BF on AM, Mortred, Void and Jugger

on Mortred and AM its just too good, on Jugger and Void you can easily skip it

on WR and QoP it definitely is not a bad thing, but I like a fast Aghanims more on QoP and with windrunner u can get so many other awesome items

hate to get it on kunkka, main reason coz I hate kunkka :x that hero is just weird
    ^^

Yea I totally agree man. I was team-talked into getting Bfury and BKB against and enemy team of 3 carries, TankAxe and DP while playing Mortred. Didn't question their decision and paid dearly for my misplaced trust in pub advice.

    Interesting perspective.
I agree with you on many of your statements to be honest, but, I still believe that hand of midas is an item that you need to talk about when talking about battlefury. Because what I like to do on Void is either go Midas+BF or Midas+bigCrit, because Midas for 1900g gives you alot of farming potential as well as early attackspeed, which is what void needs really.
But thumbs up, was a really nice post .

Bfury is one of the best items you can get on void because it increases your Farm Capability and helps you inside chrono with the cleave dmg doing insane AOE dmg.

To most people, it makes perfect sense: Battlefury gives you some nice health and mana regen, which anyone can obviously make use of, it gives a good 65 "free" damage and the Cleave which reputably allows you to "demolish" creep waves.

Now, before I argue against this, let me give you the one exception that proves the rule: Antimage. This guy is a perfect example of the ultimate use of a Battlefury: Demolish your short lane, Blink through all your neutral stacks, then Blink over to mid lane and demolish it, rince, repeat. It's not entirely uncommon for AMs to achieve up to 30 cs/min with this tactic, which is of course worth every single penny.

But that's not the only reason Battlefury is great on AM. AM is heavily reliant on a lot of mana to abuse his Blink mobility as a farming tool, that much is obvious. How do you go about achieving that mana? Manta? No chance. Vlads? Don't think so. Linken? Definitely, but Battlefury is plenty, and gives him far better benefit.
Then there's another characteristic many people overlook. AM has INSANE base attack speed. By the time he has treads and BF, he attacks easily twice as fast as many other melee carries. And as everyone should know, the higher your attack speed, the more valuable pure damage becomes.
And of course the regen only helps your jungling more. In short, not only do all of BF's characteristics perfectly suit AM, it does not leave him lacking anything, either.

Lacking is exactly what Battlefury does on (nearly) EVERY OTHER carry:
Faceless Void? Terrible base attack speed. Won't be able to deal nearly enough damage in a single Chrono to be worth BF's cost. He's unable to abuse Cleave's farming speed. Frankly, MoM gives him similar jungling capability and actually gives him the IAS he needs to make Chronos matter mid-game. Doing great and want more farming power? Rush a Midas for even more IAS and farming potential.
Juggernaut? Not the worst choice, as he does lack the same mana regen in most builds, but again, not the greatest base attack speed (especially with Phase Boots which will be core in Dota2), and frankly a Juggernaut that just rices in the jungle all game long makes his team lose. Carry for the midgame and aim for utility-carry items (SnY+Manta is pretty cool, Radi is pretty wicked).

And every other carry you can think of has better item builds as well. The only two other hero than AM I recommend Battlefury on is:
Semi-carry Kunkka (for the obvious reason that 130% Cleave damage is pretty sexy, but you better be sure to land that shit properly),
Edit: And Mortred (IF you think you can survive until you farm your vital BKB. If not, don't risk it, imo).

    That's all.

PS. Phase Boots on AM btw.
Battlefury on jugg is HIGHLY recommended.

It is not only for farming. It also raises crits & procs cleave on omnislash with physical hits. Battlefury also allows him to push incredibly fast/clear jungle fast. The items needed to make it are useful early game to stay in lane as well (regen).

I use Battle Fury on almost all carry melee heroes.
AM, PA, BH, Void after MoM, Jugg. And Kunka if I can after Shadow Blade.
You think you've got me cornered - but I'm right behind you.
