I love the fact, that you've included "Stack before you pull"... Some, let's call them "advanced beginners" always pull without stacking - and fuck up you lane. The worst part: If you tell them to stack first, they flame you![]()

Pushing at 40s past odd minute is a little too late no? Other than that great list.
The only thing I wish I knew when I just started is:
Look at the minimap. Like, all the time, even more than your screen.
How to make a signature:
1. Find witty wisecrack, cliche, or stupid statement that gets old on 2 reads,
2. Bold the entire thing to emphasize nothing,
3. Color it obnoxious,
4. Clutter my screen with it.

^Should be required reading (viewing?) at this point.
40s is when the 30s wave that spawns gets to mid and starts fighting and stuff so you should save your AoE for that. You can start pushing earlier but there's always the risk that you push into his tower and then the new creep wave is behind his tower and harder to push. 40s is playing it safe. If you're playing a hero without any push abilities for example then yeah, start the push earlier.
All this stuff to find and learn in game by myself, took me more than one year ^_^ And now, every newbie can grab it just in few minutes... Not Fair![]()
Emperor of Solo Matchmaking
Very usefull article.
if everyone applies this, there will be only GG and no noobs
the best thing about what you wrote is that it works on basicly all heroes.
i recommend people (specially newbies) to read it!
I wish I knew that the point is not mindlessly attacking the creeps but rather to last hit them.
