I think part of the login issues stem from the platform that users are registered in...seems like there are three different places you can login, and all of them stem from the gamesports platform...
not exactly convenient or smooth - I can login to my gamesports control panel, but then go back to joindota main page and not be logged in. This is also causing me to be logged out when I go from one to the other without being logged in simultaneously already
I think I'm going to be one of those annoying pricks that starts his own suggestions thread

It is indeed inconvient to have to long in multiple times while the skin of the site is the same. You feel like you're on the same site, so if you have to log in again, some frustration is created. I do like the sites so far, this is the only (major) downside I found.

Erhm I dunno If its only me but old posts doesnt get theirs signature updated, if you change the signature. On the other hand it maybe is intentional

Hi, as for signing on with steam, that won't be possible ever. Neither with facebook or anything but an account you make in our network. However, the steam ID implementation might need some work. Thanks for the links.

Same problem as #10 got here: Can't login from the front page, need to go to the forum page to login correctly. But when i then surf through the site, look here and there..., and click on "Home" again, it says I'm a guest. But im still loged in to the forum.

The Forum and Main Page cookies are separate. If you can't log in to the front page, try changing your password.

EDIT: Now works for me, all fine!
Someone probably already posted this, but I didnt see it so: I can log in in Forum and Mainpage, but it doesnt "remember me", so the option to stay logged in does not work. Any Solution?

It seems a common issue is the login working directly from the main site being bugged. I experienced the same thing, but when I went through the forum it was fine. 'm just adding my input.
