Games starting late just about every single time

Before you read this thread i must say this: guys never mind my negative score i am not trolling in this thread. (First for everything ).

Should there be like rules in tournements that expects teams to turn up 30 mins before game time is scheduled? This would mean no wait time for game to start for viewers, no complication of one rule for one one rule for rest. Basically if a team has not shown up by the official game time its auto lose and a team should be expected to join the lobby 30 mins before the start time and their time is up when the game start time has been reached and all 5 are not in lobby. It seems a very simple and no drama solution to a problem that has been plaguing the dota 2 scene and causing many controversies.

As people have other commitments in life and it seems that you can never count on a dota 2 game to start on time. Also when scheduling your time for a game you want to see but cant becuase the time you usually have that should and could be enough to watch the games is never enough because of these unnecesary delays. This hurts viewer counts also because i am sure just like me that other people usually watch vods rather then live games helping streamers and seeing the games live because of delays all the time.

it wouldn't work i guess, because sometimes games are scheduled so badly that a team is playing in another tourney and have to rush to another game straight after the game, and depending on how many games that team has per day adding +30 minutes to every game would just make it chaos because you would have to start the day so early and sometimes irl just happens

Maybe figure out why they are started late if you are talking about tonights BTS world tour/gosuleague games.

Dota2 servers/loadtimes have been lagging/bugging all night long and caused big delays. It's not the teams or organizers who can control this.
