Mouz could use a better captain?

you really have no right in making a thread like this and question 1437's captaining skills. He has done a very solid job so far in all aspects of being the captain, and the results are clearly shown in the games mouz has won. Sure he has not (yet ) received the legendary status of puppey, 2009, 820, etc, but you cant just make ridiculous threads like this. im sure he has brought a lot to mouz, (which is why he was promoted to captain almost as soon as he joined) and he will continue to bring more. you might also not know that this is the first team that he has truly captained, so cut him some slack if he is lacking in certain areas. If there theoretically were some problems, it should be worked out within the teams and not flamed by making useless threads like these and ridiculed by the dota community.

I agree with this to a very small extent, Think it was game two, where mouz completely let go of prophet and went for brood lesh as first picks when they aren't ever typically banned now-a-days.. They still won that game but that was just from black putting the team on his back.

What part of those picks don't you get ? First picking the best hard lane solo in the game against a team that loves to use it ? Or picking Lesh + SD what is one of the strongest dual lanes in the game ? Especially after a NP + Morph pick from POTM

As for Black "putting the team on his back" I'll just remind you of a 3man Split Earth into a 5man ravage that enabled that AM to get a instant triplekill ;)

He just merely questions if mouz deserve better captains, not 1437 is majorly lacking. I see no prob with him stating his opinion. Of course, opinion is mostly subjective, thus seems bias. Though I do kinda disagree. They seems to be playing as a captainless team, where even if 1437 takes a huge role in pick/ban, he don't seem to be as involved in the game as it seems. This style, allowing the players to be free to do what they want (bamboe huge dives that either goes awesomely right or catastrophically wrong) is what made the team very interesting to watch. Using different strate is one thing, playing similar strates to a variety of different interesting ways is another.

Mouz is a good enough team that they can win using what they are comfortable with despite their opponents knowing what to expect the majority of the time, but the entire team(not just Mr. Canada) needs to expand on the heroes they can play(and play well). Bamboe has himself said this in an interview that they are pretty much figured out...slightly dated, but still stands. During some of their previous games(starladder) I felt they were really over-reliant on a select few heroes.

Looks like they are indeed expanding, they still need to pick up Tiny again.

We've seen them failing when picking heroes that are out of their comfort zones. CK is the latest example.
While Mouz is very versatile in roles they play, the heroes they play is really limited. At least as an ensemble. I'm pretty sure they all know how to play most heroes, just not together yet

Come on, guys, it was explained so many times by Sing.
They draft as a team, but it's 1437 who makes the final call. Same goes for game itself, everyone can make calls, but usually its 1437\cwm.

Ok sorry if the thread sounded offensive to 1437 or the mouz team, my point was not to suggest that 1437 is a bad captain or that mouz gets outpicked, it s just that they have a very small hero poll and i know they actually do picks togheter. And when i said better captain for mouz i don t mean kick 1437, maybe someone in team can stand up and act like a captain for the team so maybe they will be more disciplined and improve team play this way. SOme earlier posts mentioned exactly what i am trying to say here and once again i am sorry for everyone who got mad because of my first thread, i do like mouseports team and this is the reason why i post this thread, i want to see them improving.

Yeah, put the guy who knows least about the game (sing) to make the calls.. smart!

The most experienced player is CMW, he also had great drafting skills.. that were actually his only skills so idk why doens't make them..

Puppey, Maelk and syndereN already have teams. There's no better captain available for mouz.
