suddenly, Ferrari morphed into another Zhou.
Valve should really edit these kind of rookie mistakes, given the stature of the company + TI 2.
It's always nice to see people, like, try to... tell you what should have been happening even though you're the one who won the International. - Puppey 2012.
Yeah seems kinda stupid...
Supports should be recognized more

You're a rather poor troll, considering that, yes, this is something worth reporting directly to Gabe. Valve have already shown that they are organizing this event down to the level of individual players, as they have proactively contacted foreign embassies to help ensure that several individual players who were originally denied visas to enter the US are able to attend. TI2 might be the biggest esport event in history and Valve know it--it's not for absolutely nothing that they're going through the pains of releasing a spectator-only client so anyone and everyone can watch. Esports has a lot of critics (as Valve's recently released documentary trailer evidences) so there could very well be some rather skeptical eyes watching this event, who will be looking for any reason they possibly can to keep saying video games are a stupid waste of time and try to keep preventing esports from being widely accepted in the mainstream. Valve are actively trying to raise the profile of not only Dota 2 but also of esports with this event. Validation and legitimization of the players' lifestyles is at stake; careless, unprofessional mistakes like this on Valve's part gives non-gamers a reason to call Valve a careless, unprofessional company and thus continue to laugh at the notion of esports.
There are other little errors too, like on Darer's page ArtStyle is still indicated as captain even though he stepped down months ago. These little things are ROOKIE and reflect poorly on Valve, not to mention it jips the players from being able to properly enjoy the publicity the massive amount of TI2 viewers will foster. "ArtStyle handed off captaincy to Goblin? Damn, Goblin must be good to deserve that"--see that? Like it's about the profile of individual players in the eyes of the community. Sure Darer fans will know, but non-fans probably won't. A little error by Valve means Goblin doesn't get that publicity. Or with CLG. It's not unimaginable, that, say, Miracle pulls off an epic, gamewinning play, but some of the press who are unfamiliar with CLG might just look at Valve's page and identify Miracle as Misery, and give Misery the credit in an in-person interview or something along those lines. Of course competitive Dota 2 fans who follow the scene will catch the error, but there are going to be a lot of casuals and altogether non-fans watching this event given how Valve is promoting it, so again in a situation like this we might have a player not having the proper credit publicly attributed to them. How would you feel if you were Miracle and the press gave Misery credit for your play? You'd get over it, especially considering that it's your own teammate, but depending on how many viewers are watching (TI1 had over 1 million), it's perfectly reasonable that you could feel like you missed out on something you earned. That's just an example, the main problem is little things like this are exactly what esports critics *cough parents cough* look for to say video games are a joke, even if the way they do so is unfair and illogical and doesn't make sense. Given Valve's agenda of trying to help esports become more popular and accepted they should take care to appear 100% professional and avoid even little mistakes like this.

the only reason artstyle gave away his position as captain is becous artstyle whats to play other lets call them " non captain" heros. If artstyle still whanted to be captain, he still would.
