1024 grid

there were more than 512 ppl signed up since the 4th cup....why was no1 able to rewrite the script to support 1024 players so that those 300 extra ppl could play...???

I'm pretty sure there were at least 200 more players who wanted to sign up but it wasnt possible.

95% of the messages in the IRC chat were about letting more players play, so i know there would be at least ~900 people playing it.

You have to change the script to 1024 for the next time, its rofl that the maximum players amount is reached after 5 minutes after the sign up was open

Hi guys,

the grid will probably not be expanded to 1024 as it would just take awfully long to finish the cup. Anyways never say never so we will consider this for future tournaments.
